In cooperation with the International Competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music”, ProQuartet selects a string quartet which will be invited to play a concert in France.
Special Award DAVOS FESTIVAL – young artists in concert
In collaboration with the International Competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music”, the DAVOS FESTIVAL will invite a selected string quartet to perform at one of the coming festivals in Davos, Switzerland.
Scholarship for a Quartet of Award winners in the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Canada
Cooperation between the International Competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music” 2018 and the Banff Centre Music Program, Canada: A quartet of award winners will take part either in the “Fall/Winter Residency Program“ or in the “Summer Music Residency Program“ at Banff Centre in Canada. The exact time will be agreed in consultation with the ensemble of award winners.
The costs arising for the course and lodging shall be borne by the Banff Centre Music Program.
A travel allowance will be paid by the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
Cooperation between Members of the WFIMC
The International Franz Liszt Piano Competition, Utrecht, and the International Competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music”,
both members of the WFIMC, present award winners in concerts in the Netherlands and in Graz:
October 2018: “! Ausgezeichnet !”, two evenings at MUMUTH, György-Ligeti-Saal, in the framework of subscription cycle
of the Gesellschaft der Freunde of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
February 2020: Concerts in Tivoli Vredenburg (Utrecht), at the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and Muziekgebouw aan ‚t IJ,
Amsterdam as part of the String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam
An exchange between the prize winners of the International Piano Competition Santander, Spain,
and the International Competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music“ is being arranged.

In collaboration with the International Competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music”, the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft will invite a selected ensemble to play a concert in Vienna.
Cooperation between the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and the Musikverein für Steiermark
Being the most important concert promoter of the provincial capital of Graz and portal to the international world of music, the Musikverein für Steiermark organizes top-class orchestra, chamber and soloist concerts and Lied recitals taking place of Stefaniensaal (Graz Convention Center) which ranks among the wold‘s best concert halls in terms of acoustics. The neighboring Kammermusiksaal forms the atomspheric framework for the “Amabile“ series in which established musicians present young talents. In addition, every year it is venue to a chamber opera production.
Should the occasion arise, selected participants of the competition “Franz Schubert and Modern Music“ might have the opportunity to take part in a concert organized by the Musikverein.
