On April 11, 2019 Trio Marvin, laureates of FS&MM 2018 in the section "Trio for piano, violin and violoncello", gave a brilliant concert in the Stefaniensaal in Graz. The concert was described as "effektvolles Klangschmusen“ (i.e. effective snogging with the sound) by the Kronenzeitung. Founded by Vita Kan (piano), Marina Grauman (violin) and Marius Urba (violoncello), the internationally acclaimed ensemble thrilled the audience with "sound-related access“ and "rhetorically finely balanced, tender sound".
The concert was preceded by the so-called prologue in the hall - 3 × 3: 3 pieces, 3 musicians, 3 students - in which the members of the trio had a chat with the three KUG-students Johanna Kaiser, Sandra Macher, and Laura Hanetseder. Also among the congratulants were Dr. Christa Neuper (rector of the Karl-Franzens-University Graz), Ludmilla Haase (borough mayor, on behalf of mayor Mag. Nagl), Dr. Josef Smolle (on behalf of Governor Schützenhöfer) and Elisabeth von Magnus (Vice Rector of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and Chair of the FS&MM Presidium).
