Ayaz Gambarli, Azerbaijan
Ayaz Gambarli studied at Baku Music College (Azerbaijan) with Sevda Babazade from 1999 to 2003. Diploma in piano. From 2003 to 2007 studied at the Baku Music Academy u. a. at Arif Melikov. Bachelor degree in composition.
He won many prizes and a. 2005 Diploma at the 4th International "pre-art" Composition Competition, Zurich, Switzerland, 2011 "Gənclər mükafatı" Award for his achievements in music / composition as a representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad by the Ministry of Youth and Sport (Azerbaijan), 2011 1 Prize at ALEA III 29th International Composition Prize, Boston, Massachusetts (USA).
2012 Participation in the "Kyiv Music Fest", a festival for contemporary music in Ukraine and the "TonLagen" festival for contemporary music Dresden (Germany).
Until 2011, Ayaz Gambarli worked as a teacher of composition, orchestration and instrumentation at the Bulbul Music School.
His compositions include: Sketches (for piano solo 2003), Piano trio (Violin, Cello and Piano 2004), Divertissement (for Symphonic Orchestra 2005), String quartet (2006), Concerto for piano and symphonic orchestra (2007), Waltz from an old Gramophone (for flute, Bb clarinet, violin, cello and piano 2008), Four conventional images (for cello and piano 2009), Composition resolved to dots (for flute, Bb clarinet, violin, cello and piano 2010), Méthode de sens (for ensemble for nine musicians in 2011), Confluence I (for violin, viola and cello 2012), Confluence II (for flute, violin, viola and cello 2013).
