The Quatuor Voce was founded in 2004. 3rd prize and recent finalists at the International Chamber Music Competition in Cremona 2005, 2nd prize (for non-award of 1st prize) at the Geneva International Competition 2006, winner of the "Grand Prix" at the Forum Musical de Normandie, 3rd place and Special Prize for a contemporary work at the International Chamber Music Competition Joseph Haydn in Vienna 2007 and two interpretation prizes at the International String Quartet Competition in Bordeaux 2007 for a Mozart Quartet and a contemporary work.
The quartet has been supported by the Banque Populaire Foundation since 2007. 2005 lessons with the Ysaÿe Quartet at the Conservatoire Superieur de Paris, further lessons with Valentin Erben, Günter Pichler, Walter Levin and the Artemis Quartet, with Christophe Coin (Mosaiques Quartet), Martin Lovett (Amadeus Quartet), Jean Mouillère (Via Nova Quartet), François Salque and the Talich Quartet. Masterclasses with Jean-François Zygel. Performances u.a. at the Festival de Radio France and Montpellier, the Flâneries Musicales de Reims, the Festival de Musique de Chambre de Divonne and the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, the Cremona Théâtre, the Théâtre Mogador and the Maison de la Radio in Paris. Live accompaniment for silent films by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, Ernst Lubitsch and Buster Keaton. The quartet is artistic director of the Streicher Festival at La Charité sur Loire and the Le Coeur en Musiques festival in the southern Ardèche region.

Sarah Dayan, violin (France)
Born in Clamart, France. First violin lessons 1987 with Agnès Reverdy. Further studies with Olivier Charlier, Ysaÿe Quartet, Christophe Poiget. Masterclasses with the Artemis Quartet, with Hatto Beyerle and György Kurtág. Studies at the "Le Conservatoire de Paris" (1999-2007), "ProQuartet" (2004-2009) and at the "Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris". 2005 Prix Ravel de l'Académie at Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Concerts with her quartet in Europe, Japan, North Africa and Central America.

Guillaume Becker, Viola (France)
Born in Nantes, France. First lesson 1988 with Pierre Lefebvre. Further studies with Tasso Adamopoulos and Jean Sulem. Masterclasses with the Talich Quartet, Walter Levine and Atar Arad. Studied at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux and at the "Le Conservatoire de Paris".

Cecile Roubin, violin (France)
Born in Paris, France. First violin lessons 1991 with Sophie Baduel. Further studies with Suzanne Gessner, Christophe Poiget and Jean-Jacques Kantorow. Masterclasses with the Artemis Quartet, with Hatto Beyerle and Eberhard Feltz. Studied at the CNR Paris, CNR Boulogne Billancourt and at the "Le Conservatoire de Paris". Numerous 1st prizes in various music colleges.

Julien Decoin, Violoncello (France)
Born in Auxerre, France. First cello lessons 1984 with Eric Picard. Further studies with Xavier Gagnepain, Hélène Dautry and Michel Strauss. Masterclasses with François Salque. Studied at CNR de Boulogne Billancourt, CNR de Lille and "Le Conservatoire de Paris" (CNSMDP). Director of the String Festival in La Charité sur Loire.
