Andrea KIM, violin (Germany)
Born in 1978 in Dinslaken, Germany. First lessons in 1981 in Germany at the music school Wesel. Further lessons with Michael Gaiser (1994-1998), Thomas Brandis (1998-2003) and Gerhard Schulz (2003-2004). Masterclasses with Shmuel Ashkenazy, Igor Ozim, Antje Weithaas, Daniel Gaede, Max Speermann and Ilan Gronich. Studied at the Robert Schumann University in Dusseldorf until 1998, 1998-2002 at the University of Arts Berlin, 2002-2005 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and at the University of Music Lübeck. 2002 diploma and 2005 concert exam. 2006 debut as a soloist in the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. Scholarship from Villa Musica, Rhineland-Palatinate. "Concerts Young Artists" as a duo at various festivals. Concertmaster of the Philharmonic Orchestra Lübeck and the Philharmonic Orchestra Bremen. Since 2006 lead singer of the Radiosymphonieorchester Frankfurt.

Born in 1978 in Sindelfingen, Germany. First lesson in 1984 with Nora Huzly. Further lessons with Michael Hauber (1994-2000) and Klaus Hellwig (2000-2006). Masterclasses with Ilan Gronich, Thomas Quasthoff, Elza Kolodin, Menahem Pressler. Studied at the University of Music Mannheim and the University of Arts Berlin. Diploma as a music teacher, diploma in the artistic major. Several first federal awards "Jugend musiziert", 2nd prize Giovanni Concertisti Rome. Scholarship "German Music Competition" 2007. Various radio recordings in Germany, Europe and North America. CDs at Primavera Ars Musici 2005, Classic Concert Records 2007. Invitations to the Berliner Philharmonie, the Konzerthaus and the Ludwigsburg Festival, regularly guest at festivals in Germany and Europe. Concert tour in Canada and South America.
