Trio Image was founded in 2000. All members of the ensemble studied in the class of Andreas Reiner (Rosamunde Quartet) at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen (Germany). In February 2004, the musicians graduated with honors. Trio Image already gave concerts during her studies in Germany, Austria and Bulgaria. Among other things, it was invited to the International Music Festival Varna Summer and the Week of the Encounter - International Week at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. In July 2005 the trio received the scholarship of Werner Richard - Dr. med. Carl Dörken Foundation, which resulted in numerous other concert engagements.
Pavlin NECHEV, Piano (Bulgaria)
Born in Pleven (Bulgaria). First class with Snejina Schoikowa in Pleven. Since 1999 studies at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen (Germany), first with Boris Bloch, since 2001 with Michael Roll. 2004 Completion of the course "Artistic Instrumental Education". Since October 2004 postgraduate studies concert exam. 1990-1999 lessons with Antoaneta Vodenitscharova. Masterclasses with Oxana Yablonskaya, Catherine Vickers, Detlef Kraus, Ludmil Angelov, Milena Mollova, Bruce Vogt, Germaine Mounier. Numerous prizes and awards, u. a. 1999 Honorary Diploma for exceptional musical achievements. Numerous concerts in Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, France and Turkey. From September 2003 to February 2004 scholarship holder of the International Ensemble Modern Academy Frankfurt, funded by the NRW Kunststiftung.
Gergana GERGOVA, violin (Bulgaria)
Born in Pleven (Bulgaria). Education at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen with Mintcho Mintchev, chamber music studies with Andreas Reiner. In the summer of 2004, graduated with honors in the study program "Artistic Instrumental Education". Since the winter semester 2004 master studies at the Kunstuniversität Graz with Yaïr Kless. Masterclasses with Mintcho Mintchev, Yfrah Neaman, Zakhar Bron, Yaïr Kless. 1990 1st prize at the Competition for Young Violinists in Bulgaria. 2003 1st Prize and Special Prize at the International Competition Pancho Vladigerov in Bulgaria. Concert series / festivals in Bulgaria, Russia, Hungary, Spain, Germany and Austria. Recordings for the Bulgarian Radio and the WDR3.
Saerom PARK, Violoncello (South Korea)
Born in Seoul (Korea). Debut as a soloist with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra at the age of 15 years. Studied at Folkwang Hochschule Essen with Young-Chang Cho (cello) and Andreas Reiner (chamber music). Completion of the program "Artistic Instrumental Education" with honors. 2004 postgraduate concert exam. Masterclasses u. a. Jeremy Menuhin, Yuri Gandelsman, Marc Coppey, Pavel Gililov. 1996 1st Prize at the Korean Times Competition, 1st Prize at the World Times Competition, 1997 1st Prize and Special Prize for Modern Music at the National Chamber Music Competition, 1998 1st Prize and Johannes Brahms Prize at the Federal Competition. Concerts in Korea, Japan, USA, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia, South Africa, Austria and Russia, u. a. with Claude Frank, Joseph Silverstein, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Michel Strauss, Paul Coletti, Niek de Groot and Bernard Wambach.
