The duo Wakako Nakaso and Jone Punyte emerged from the song class of Konrad Richter, MHS Stuttgart. Although the two musicians are currently studying at various music colleges, they are supervised as a song duo by Cornelis Witthoefft, MHS Stuttgart. They perform with a program that ranges from classical to modern.

Wakako Nakaso, soprano (Japan)

The soprano Wakako Nakaso was born in Japan. She initially completed her vocal studies at the Tokyo College of Music with Katsura Nakazawa. Later she studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in the Lied class Konrad Richter. Since 2004 she studies postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik Saarbrücken with Yaron Windmüller. She is a freelance ensemble member of the SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart and sang at the International Handel Festival 2005, Rhein Vokal 2005 and in various concerts. Participation in the ensemble at the Venice Biennale 2005 in Venice. As a concert singer several church concerts as well as concerts in Kanazawa, Tokyo and Stuttgart. Scholarship holder from ZONTA-Club Saarbrücken. Award for Best Interpretation of Modern Music at the International Competition for Singers and Piano Accompaniment 2005 in Lithuania.

Jone PUNYTE, Piano (Lithuania)

The pianist Jone Punyte was born in Kaunas (Lithuania). She graduated from the Lithuanian Music Academy in 2003. Since then studying at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart in the Lied classes with Konrad Richter and Cornelis Witthoefft. At the Hochschule für Musik Trossingen she studies Fortepiano / Early Music with Eckart Sellheim. Masterclasses with Konrad Richter and Willem Brons. Appearances as chamber pianist, u. a. 1st prize at the Chamber Music Competition 2001 in Vilnius, 2nd Prize at the International Competition for Singers and Piano Accompaniment 2005 in Lithuania.
