Yo Chan AHN, baritone (South Korea)

Born in 1972 in Kwangju, South Korea. Since 1994 vocal studies at the Mogpo University Korea (Diploma 1997), subsequently at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt am Main with Karl Markus (Diploma 2001). Lessons in song design with Charles Spencer and Rainer Hoffmann. Since 2002 studies in the Lied class Hartmut Höll and Mitsuko Shirai in Karlsruhe. Participation in numerous master classes, i. a. Wolfram Rieger, Rudolf Piernay and Hilde Zadek. His previous achievements include 1st Prize at the International Song Competition of the Schubert Society in Osaka 2000, 2nd Prize at the International Paula-Salomon-Lindberg Song Competition 2001 in Berlin and inclusion in the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation "Live Music Now".

Hedayet DJEDDIKAR, Piano (Germany)

Born in 1972 in Basel, Hedayet Djeddikar grew up in Bonn. First piano lessons at the age of four, later lessons in recorder, violin and oboe. His teacher was the Bonn pianist Rose Marie Zartner, who also prepared him for university studies. Since 1996 Hedayet Djeddikar studies piano with Herbert Seidel at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt am Main, since 2001 in the piano class of Bernhard Wetz. Lessons in songwriting with Charles Spencer. Since 2001 postgraduate studies for Lied accompaniment and piano chamber music with Rainer Hoffmann and Eugen Wangler. Participation in master classes i.a. Wolfram Rieger, Mitsuko Shirai, Hartmut Höll, Charles Spencer, Ulf Bästlein, Norman Shetler, Thomas Quasthoff, Peter Feuchtwanger and Axel Bauni. Multiple national award winner at the "Jugend musiziert" competition, 1st Prize for best piano accompaniment at the International "Paula Salomon Lindberg" Song Competition 2001 in Berlin, 2002 Nordfriesischer Liedpreis des Landes Schleswig-Holstein. Joined the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation "Live Music Now", Fazit Foundation Fellow and 1st Prize at the "Jeunesses Musicales" Competition for Lied duo "Verfemte Musik" 2002 in Schwerin.
