Born in 1972 in Germany. 1990-1995 studied voice at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and Oberschützen Expositur, 1995 1st diploma with honors. 1996-1998 Study abroad at the Music Academy Basel with Kurt Widmer. Masterclasses with Thomas Quasthoff and Sena Jurinac. 1996 laureate of the International "Bach" Competition Leipzig, 1998 laureate of the "Academia Vocalis Tirolensis", 1999 finalist and scholar of the German Music Competition in Berlin. Since 1997 guest of the Salzburg Festival, 1999/2000 member of the International Opera Studio Zurich. Regular concert tours with recitals and oratorios at home and abroad. CD with Volker Sellmann (baritone and harp).
Bernd SCHÄFER, Piano (Germany)
Born in 1967 in Germany. First piano lessons at the age of 12 Gifted scholarship with Annekatrin Klein. 1987 Beginning of piano studies at the Freiburg Musikhochschule, guest study at the University of Music and Theater Leipzig with Gerhard Erber. Masterclasses with Kurt Widmer, Rudolf Jansen and Gérard Wyss. Since 1995 regular accompanist and accompanist in the class of Kim Kashkashian. 1997 member of the ensemble "Les Flaneries Musicales" with performance at "toujours Mozart" 1998 in Salzburg. Award winner at the Berliner Rundfunkanstalten competition, recordings for Sender Freies Berlin (SFB) with works for viola and piano by Johannes Brahms and Astor Piazzola.
