Evgenia GREKOVA, soprano (Russia)

Born in 1974 in Russia. 1992 laureate of the 1st International Competition for Young Singers in Ekaterinburg. Graduated from the Kurgan Technical School in 1993 as choir conductor, graduated from the Moscow Choral Art Academy as a solo singer with Alexandrova, and since 1997 studied song composition at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe with Mitsuko Shirai and Hartmut Höll. 1994 laureate of the "Schubert" competition in Moscow, 1997 laureate of the "Bella voce" competition in Duogesang in Moscow. Concerts, oratorio and opera performances in Germany and abroad, i. a. as a soloist with the choir of the Stuttgarter Bachakademie under Helmuth Rilling. CD productions. Guest contract at the Staatsoper Stuttgart for "L'enfant et les sortilèges" by Maurice Ravel for the season 1998/99, in summer 1999 engagement in the Bayreuth Festival Choir.

Matthias ALTEHELD, Piano (Germany)

Born 1971 in Germany. First piano lessons at the age of 10 years. Several prizes at "Jugend musiziert" Germany in the field of piano accompaniment. At the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold studied musicology and instrumental pedagogy with main subject piano with Edmundo Lasheras. Since 1998 studied artistic song design with Mitsuko Shirai and Hartmut Höll at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. Masterclasses with Renate Kretschmar-Fischer, Charles Spencer and Hartmut Höll. 1995 2nd prize for the best song accompaniment at the "Paula-Lindberg-Salomon" competition in Berlin. 1999 scholarship at the German Music Competition in Berlin in the category piano partner.
