Andreea BANCIU, Viola

Born in 1975 in Romania. Studied at the Bucharest Music Academy, 1997/98 study abroad at the Banff Center for the Arts, Alberta (Canada). Participation in numerous master classes, i. a. Amadeus Summer Courses, with David Takeno, Valeriu Pitulac, Dan Mitu and Thomas Kakuska. Numerous national and international awards. Concerts in Europe, China and Canada. Radio, TV and CD recordings. Performances as a soloist and the Lyceum String Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra of the Bucharest Music Academy, member of the Philharmonie der Nationen (Germany).

Adrian MANTU, Violoncello

Born in 1973 in Romania. Diploma at the Music Academy Bucharest. 1997/98 Study abroad at the Banff Center for the Arts, Alberta, Canada. Winner of numerous international prizes, i. a. at the competitions "Orpheu" in Sofia 1994, Jeunesses Musicales Bucharest 1995. As a soloist more than 50 concert appearances with orchestras from Romania and with international youth orchestras in Germany, Bulgaria and Austria. Chamber music performances in Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, France, Yugoslavia, Germany and Canada. Participation in numerous master classes, e.g. Radu Aldulescu, Stefan Popov, Wolfgang Laufer, Gerhard Hamann, Laurence Lesser, Antonio Lysy, Martin Lovett, David Strange, David Takeno, the Alban Berg Quartet and the Amadeus Quartet.

Ingrid NICOLA, violin

Born in 1975 in Romania. 1994 graduation of the "Gheorge Enescu" Music High School. Since 1994 studies at the Music Academy Bucharest, lessons with Daniel Podlovschi, Ladislau Csendes and Fred Popovici. 1986-1998 numerous prizes and a scholarship for chamber music (string quartet) in Banff, Alberta (Canada), i. a. Winner of several competitions in Romania. Masterclasses i. a. Gilbert Kalish, Antonio Lysy, David Takeno, Douglas McNabney, Laurence Lesser and the Trio D'Iscles. CD production at the Banff Center (Canada).

Marius Bogdan SOFEI, violin

Born in 1975 in Romania. Beginning of violin studies at the age of 5. Numerous prizes and awards at national and international competitions, i. a. Special Prize of the Jury at the National Contest "The Gold Lyra", Suceava, 1st Prize at the Competition of the Music High School "Gheorge Enescu", 1st Prize at the International Competition "Città di Stressa", Italy, 1st Prize at the National Contest "Mihail Jora" Bucharest 1993, 1st Prize at the Chamber Music Competition of the Constanta Conservatory 1994.
