Born in 1969 in Germany. Multiple "Jugend musiziert" award winner, member of the German Federal Youth Orchestra. From 1988 studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin with Thomas Zehetmair and Thomas Brandis, in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with David Takeno. Masterclasses u. a. with Sandor Végh, Shmuel Ashkenasi and Ernst Kovacic, further lessons with György Kurtág, György Sebök, the Tákács Quartet and the Borodin Quartet. Concerts in Europe, North and Central America, North Africa, the Middle East and China. Numerous radio recordings.
Julian MILFORD, piano (Great Britain)
Born in 1970 in London. Graduated from Oxford University in 1991. Studied piano and piano at Joan Havill's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Specializing in chamber music and duo repertoire, performances a. a. in Wigmore Hall and the Purcell Room. International concert activity in Europe, the USA, South America and Africa. Regular radio appearances at the BBC. Recordings with the Russian violinist Lydia Mordkovitch.
