Fundamental for his education were and are the meetings with Beat Furrer, with whom he studied in 2005-2006 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG), Rostock Summer Campus 2009 and IMPULS 2005, 2007, 2009.
He attended the IRCAM Cursus 1 in composition and computer music 2010-2011 as well as Pierluigi Billone’s course “Klangwege” at the KUG and Stefano Gervasoni’s master class at the TEMA Academy in Milan (Italy). He won the “Gianni Bergamo Music Award 2007 – Composition” (Lugano, Switzerland), the “Hamburger Klangwerktage 2007 – 2nd International Composition Contest, Lied Unlimited”, the “X Concorso di Composizione Rosolino Toscano” (Pescara, Italy), the “III Concorso di Composizione Città di Varese 2003“ (Italy), and the second prize at the “ISME-IVME 2nd International Composition Contest 2008” (Brussels, Belgium). He was nominated for a composer for IMPULS 2009 (Wien-Graz).
Some of his pieces have been performed by important artists (such as Beat Furrer, Enno Poppe, Diederik Suys, Filip Martens, Sandro Gorli, Natalia Pschenitschnikova, William Lane, Emanuele Torquati) and ensembles (such as Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Recherche, Dissonart Ensemble, Divertimento Ensemble, Ensemble Intégrales) in several events and places such as: “IMPULS 2009” (Helmut-List-Halle Graz), “New Music Network 2009-Concert Series” Sydney, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Rostock, “Rondò 2009” Milan, “Tage für neue Musik Zürich 2007”, Jacques Brel Concert Hall Brussels, “Hamburger Klangwerktage”, UdK Berlin, Museum der Moderne Salzburg.
He is also a guitarist, he graduated with full marks under the guidance of Francesco Romano at the Jacopo Tomadini Conservatory in Udine (2003) having a predilection for the Renaissance and contemporary repertoire, as well as for the electric guitar.
