Emmanuel Christien, Piano (France)
Tristan Liehr, Violine (France)
Aurélienne Brauner, Violoncello (France)
The Trio Gallien was founded by three young musicians in Bordeaux, France, who shared a passion for chamber music. They each graduated from the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris, in the classes of Philippe Müller (cello), Vladimir Nemtanu (violin), and Jacques Rouvier (piano), who each developed the musicians´ understanding of their form, its repertoire and of chamber music in general. To the same aim the musicians received coaching from celebrated teachers and artists such as Claire Désert, Ami Flammer, Emmanuel Strosser, Marc Danel or Florent Boffard. After many years of playing together, and following the appointment of Aurelienne Brauner and Tristan Liehr as first solists at Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, the three instrumentalists decided to create the Gallien Trio in 2015, in conjunction with their intense personal careers. The trio had then already the opportunity to play many concerts in various concert halls (Cité des Arts et Cité de la Musique in Paris, Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux, Phénix in Valenciennes) as well as in many Castles in the Bordeaux region.
