Michael WENDEBERG (Germany)
Born in Germany in 1974. First piano lessons in 1979, from 1988 onwards with Jürgen Uhde. From 1993 onwards music studies in Saarbrücken with Bernd Glemser (piano) and Stefan Litwin (modern music and chamber music). 1998 graduation in Saarbrücken, continuation of his studies with Glemser in Würzburg. Since 1994 numerous solo and chamber music productions for Radio Saarland. Concerts, broadcasts and recordings as soloist for the radio stations SR, NDR, ORB, RIAS Berlin, Radio Bremen, SWR and HR. 1995 scholarship of the “Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes”. Many prizes, a. o. 1997 “Gieseking” Competition Saarbrücken and International Music Competition “Classica Nova” (Grand Prix) in Hannover, 1999 “Paula Salomon Lindberg” Competition in Berlin. Numerous international concerts as soloist and chamber musician, since Autumn 2000 pianist in the Ensemble Intercontemporain, Paris.
