The Lied duo Ziegler-Wiesner formed during their years of study in the Lied course of Karl-Peter Kammerlander at the Liszt School of Music Weimar. Since then the musicians have broadened their repertoire continuously and give concerts on a regular basis. Their main focus is on German and French repertoire. Master classes with Olaf Bär, Axel Bauni, Gabriela Fontana, and most recently with Christoph Prégardien have been very inspiring for the duo. Sylvia Rena Ziegler and Friederike Wiesner took part in the Liedforum 2010 at the University of the Arts Berlin.
