Michael NAGY, Baritone (Germany)
Born in 1976 Michael Nagy began his career as a musician at the Hymnus Boys’ Choir Stuttgart, where he had his first singing lessons. In 1997 he was federal prize-winner at the “Jugend musiziert” contest in the fields of song and lied accompaniment. He began his advanced singing studies in 1997 with Luisa Bosabalian in Stuttgart, followed by lessons with Rudolf Piernay at the Musikhochschule Mannheim from April 1999 on. At the same time, since 2001, he has attended conducting classes with Klaus Arp and Georg Grün. Master classes with Kurt Widmer, Cornelius Reid, Semjon Skigin, Ulf Bästlein and Charles Spencer completed his training as a singer. Since April 2002 Michael Nagy has been a member of the opera school at the University of Music in Mannheim. He gave performances at opera productions staged by the “Young Opera of State Theater Stuttgart” and by the Ludwigsburg Castle Festivals. In addition he performed at numerous lieder recitals and at concerts given locally and abroad with programmes of sacred and secular oratorial music including contemporary works such as Maurizio Kagel’s “St.-Bach-Passion”.
Anette FISCHER-LICHDI, Klavier (Deutschland)
Anette Fischer grew up in Bad Rappenau near Heilbronn where she had her first piano lessons. In 1989 she began lessons with Heide von Molitor in Sinsheim. From the age of 14 she was taught by Christoph Back in Heidelberg. Since autumn 1999 she has been a student at the National University for Music and Drama in Mannheim attending classes with Robert Benz. In addition she attended master classes held by Thèrese Dussaut and Semjon Skigin. Apart from performing as a solo pianist, her main musical interest is song accompaniment. Anette Fischer is a prizewinner of national and international competitions: She obtained the 2nd federal prize at the “Jugend musiziert” contest in the section of piano solo. In 2001 she won the 2nd prize at the “European Music Competition Città di Moncalieri”.
