Andreas BEINHAUER, Baritone
The baritone Andreas Beinhauer began his studies in 2008 at Karlsruhe‘s University of Music with Mitsuko Shirai and Hartmut Höll and completed his master programme in 2014 with honours. He received impetus from Thomas Hampson, Udo Reinemann, Thomas Quasthoff, Julia Varady and Brigitte Fassbaender among others.
Since spring 2014, Beinhauer has been engaged as a guest at the National Theatre Mannheim and the Theatre Wuppertal in the 2014/15 season. Moreover, during his studies in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, he sang, among other things, “Conte Almaviva” (Le Nozze di Figaro), “Demetrius” (A Midsummer Night‘s Dream) and “Dr. Falke” (Die Fledermaus). He also works actively as a Lied and oratorio soloist throughout Europe and beyond. As a soloist of the Rastatter Vocalensemble, he has made CD and radio recordings with, amongst others, Reinhold Friedrich. He has given Lied recitals in Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Egypt and South Africa. On the piano he is accompanied by Markus Hadulla, Matthias Alteheld and Hartmut Höll. Beinhauer won 1st prize at the Hochschulwettbewerb in Lübeck in 2011 and 3rd prize at the International Art Song Competition at the Hugo-Wolf-Academy in Stuttgart in 2012. During his studies he was granted a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.
Anna GRACZYKOWSKA, Piano
The pianist Anna Graczykowska began her piano training in 1992 at the municipal music school in her home town Kalisz, Poland. After her school education she entered university in 2004 to study piano with Andrzej Dutkiewicz and piano chamber music with Katarzyna Jankowska at Warsaw Conservatory. The intensive work with chamber music brought Anna Graczykowska to Germany, where she began her studies at Karlsruhe‘s University of Music in October 2009. She completed her Master Studies in Lied interpretation in the class of Hartmut Höll and Mitsuko Shirai. She received additional impetus from Petras Ganiušas and Dominique Merlet in the discipline of piano and from Andrzej Szkurhan and Udo Reinemann in the discipline of “internationales Lied”.
As a partner of chamber music, she has won numerous prizes for her accompaniment of song competitions in Poland and Austria, most recently in 2013 at the Ada Sari Competition (Poland). In duo with clarinet and piano, she won second prize at the Chamber Music Competition in Piotrków Trybunalski (Poland). In the course of her studies, Anna has given numerous chamber music concerts and Lied recitals in Poland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Of particular note is her participation in concerts of the Festival for New Music in Tallinn (Estonia), the Chamber Music Festival in Wigry (Poland) and for the second time of the Rheingau Musikfestival. During her studies in Germany she was granted a scholarship by the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.
